Renovation of a library in Blaine, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The project involves substantial alterations to the existing structure, miscellaneous site improvements, accessibility upgrades, and flood mitigation measures. Additional work includes structural upgrades and the replacement of existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Bid proposals must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Invitation to Bid. The Whatcom County Library System reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals, revise or cancel the work, complete the work by other means, or postpone the bid award by up to thirty days after bid opening. An additional, non-mandatory pre-bid walkthrough will be held at the project site for interested contractors and subcontractors on Friday, May 1st, 2026 at 2pm.
