Sealed bids are requested for furnishing Standard Reed Improvements – Phase 1 for the Ouachita Parish Police Jury. Plans, specifications, and contract documents are available from the office of the consulting engineers, Lazenby & Associates, Inc., with a deposit required for each set. Deposits are refundable under specified conditions. Each bid must include a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bid bond for not less than 5% of the total bid amount as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly enter into a contract and provide required bonds. Bids must be accompanied by a Corporate Resolution or written evidence of authority for the signer. Electronic bids are accepted. The successful bidder must submit executed Non-Collusion Declaration, Attestation Clause, and E-Verify Affidavit within ten days of the bid opening. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the full contract amount. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
