Each bid shall be accompanied by aa cashier's check, certified check or acceptable Bid Bond payable to Ouachita Parish Police_Jury in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the Bidder will promptly enter t into a contract and execute such bonds as may be required. Each bid shall also be accompanied by a Corporate Resolution or written evidence of the ity of the person signing the bid for the public work as a prescribed by LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the full amount of the Contract in accordance with Article 5 of the General Conditions. In addition, the successful Bidder shall be required to ar Conditions. in addmion, the slccesstr s si abau furnish a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the Contract in accordance with Article 5 of the General Conditions. Deposits on any additional sets will be refunded less the actual costs of reproduction. Refunds will be made upon return of the documents in good condition within ten days after receipt of bids. QA date - 11-3-2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
