IN ORDER TO SUBMIT AN ELIGIBLE BID, CONTRACTORS ARE REQUIRED TO GET A COPY OF THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FROM David Slaw.****** The work includes pavement rehabilitation and reconstruction of Runway 10-28, and the existing connector taxiways for Runway 10-28, located to the west of the Runway 4-22 / Runway 10-28 intersection. The project also includes construction of a new connector taxiway between Taxiway N & Runway 10-28. Rehabilitation involves approximately 152,700 SF of asphalt pavement rehabilitation and approximately 58,575 SF of asphalt pavement section construction/reconstruction. Rehabilitation consists of milling and overlaying existing asphalt pavement, while construction/reconstruction consists of new asphalt pavement over new crushed aggregate base course. Other work includes pavement removal and turf restoration, removal and installation of drainage and electrical infrastructure, turf grading, stabilization, and pavement marking. The scope is divided into a Base Bid and two Add-On portions, detailing removal/restoration of pavement, asphalt reconstruction and rehabilitation, drainage and electrical work, turf grading, stabilization, and marking for various runway and taxiway segments. Bidders must calculate bids based only on official Contract Documents and Drawings, and submission must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond (10% of bid, up to $20,000).
