The proposed project consists of the following work: Section A: Runway 7-25 Pavement Rehabilitation, including temporary airfield control, crack sealing, and other incidental items of work; Section B: Taxiway Pavement Rehabilitation, including temporary airfield control, crack sealing, and other incidental items of work; and Section C: Apron Pavement Rehabilitation, including temporary airfield control, crack sealing, and other incidental items of work. Sealed proposals are requested for airfield pavement rehabilitation at Monroe County Airport in Woodsfield, Ohio. Bids must be submitted using the provided proposal forms and accompanied by either a combined bid guaranty and contract bond for 100 percent of the bid, or by a certified or cashier's check for 10 percent of the bid amount. If a check is submitted, a separate contract bond for 100 percent of the contract amount will be required from the successful bidder. Work is subject to various federal requirements, including those related to civil rights, fair labor standards, safety, recovered materials, termination of contract, and more. The project is also subject to State of Ohio requirements regarding licensing of corporations and service location disclosures. Award of work will be made to the lowest and best bidder in compliance with all requirements, with the right reserved to waive informalities or reject any or all proposals. No award will be made if the bid exceeds the engineer's estimate by more than 20 percent.
