The Owner reservesthe right to make, at any time during the progress of the work,such increases or decreases in quantities and such alterations in details of work as may be deemed necessary or desirable. Such increases or decreases and alterationsshall not invalidate the contract nor release the surety, and the Contractor agrees to perform the work as altered, the same as if it had been a part of the original contract. Authorized alterationsin plans or quantities of work involving work not covered by unit pricesin the proposal shall be paid for as stipulated in the change order authorizing such work. No changes in work covered by the approved Contract shall be made without having prior written approval of the Owner. Question Deadline 05/13/2026 Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to Alyssa Stephens, OSU Extension, 46764 State Route 26, Woodsfield, OH 43793,stephens.967@osu.edu and, to be given consideration, must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 10% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Monroe County Commissioners or by certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the aforesaid Mon- roe County Commissioners. A combination bid/performance/ payment bond (contract bond) for 100% of the bid amount. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Monroe County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
