Contract A - Base Bid includes pavement maintenance on various roads throughout the Borough with approximate quantities of 15,500 SY of 3.5" Bituminous Rotomilling, 2,150 TON of 2" 19mm Superpave Binder Course, 15,500 SY of 1.5" 9.5 Superpave Wearing Course, 11,050 LF of Bituminous Wedge Curb, 790 SY of Base Repair, Traffic Control, and Resident Notification and Restoration. Contract A - Add Alternate No. 1: Ashley Lane with approximately 1,180 SY of 3.5" Bituminous Rotomilling, 170 TON of 2" 19mm Superpave Binder Course, 1,180 SY of 1.5" 9.5 Superpave Wearing Course, 980 LF of Bituminous Wedge Curb, 60 SY of Base Repair, Traffic Control, Resident Notification and Restoration. Contract A - Add Alternate No. 2: Chelsea Drive with approximately 3,570 SY of 3.5" Bituminous Rotomilling, 510 TON of 2" 19mm Superpave Binder Course, 3,570 SY of 1.5" 9.5 Superpave Wearing Course, 2,870 LF of Bituminous Wedge Curb, 180 SY of Base Repair, Traffic Control, Resident Notification and Restoration. Contract A - Add Alternate No. 3: Oak Entrance Drive with approximately 2,930 SY of 3.5" Bituminous Rotomilling, 330 TON of 2" 19mm Superpave Binder Course, 2,930 SY of 1.5" 9.5 Superpave Wearing Course, 150 SY of Base Repair, Traffic Control, Resident Notification and Restoration. Contract B - Base Bid: Peters Creek Road includes pavement maintenance with approximately 23,000 SY of 3.5" Bituminous Rotomilling, 2,530 TON of 2" 19mm Superpave Binder Course, 23,000 SY of 1.5" 9.5 Superpave Wearing Course, 2,300 SY of Base Repair, Traffic Control, and Resident Notification and Restoration. Instructions to bidders include the requirement that proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope, clearly marked, accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond equal to ten percent of the total amount of the proposal. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages must be paid. All bidders shall be PennDOT pre-qualified and shall submit their certificates and a Non-Collusion Affidavit. Proposals must remain firm for sixty days. Performance, Maintenance, and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance Certificates, and Certificates of Workman's Compensation are required upon acceptance. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and contract may be awarded for all or any portion of the work based on total quantities and unit prices.
