Sealed bids are requested for furnishing the necessary labor and materials for Strathmore Subdivision North & South Partridge Drive Pavement Reconstruction Phase 6 & 7 in Valley View, Ohio. The work must be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications available at the office of the Village Engineer. Bidders are required to deposit eighty dollars for the plans and specifications, which is non-refundable, and must use the printed forms provided. Each bid must state separate amounts for labor and materials and include the full name of each bidding party. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond for the full amount of the bid or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid, serving as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into and performed if accepted. Bid guarantees will be retained until a contract is properly executed. Bids and guarantees must be sealed and endorsed. The Village of Valley View reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed most favorable. The Village may also disregard nonconforming, incomplete, or conditional bids and conduct investigations to determine qualifications, responsibility, and financial ability of bidders or subcontractors to complete the work as specified.
