RFP - Baseball Field Lighting Project For the Grandview R-II School District The Grandview R-II School District is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the turnkey furnishing and installation of a complete LED baseball field lighting system designed for competitive high school baseball use. The project shall include all labor, materials, equipment, foundations, poles, fixtures, conduit, wiring, aiming, commissioning, and site restoration necessary for a fully operational system. The lighting system shall utilize a minimum of 70 foot galvanized steel sports lighting poles and shall provide a minimum average maintained illumination level of fifty (50) foot-candles in the infield and thirty (30) foot-candles in the outfield, with uniformity ratios not exceeding 2.5:1 in the infield and 3.0:1 in the outfield. LED fixtures shall be designed specifically for outdoor sports lighting applications and shall include glare-control optics. Contractors shall provide photometric layouts, pole loading calculations, engineered foundation requirements, electrical requirements, estimated energy consumption, fixture specifications, and warranty information with their proposal. Equivalent systems from any manufacturer meeting these minimum performance standards will be considered The Grandview R-II School District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
