Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Lethbridge, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The objective of this project is to engage a qualified design-build irrigation contractor to design, supply, install, test, and commission a replacement color-coded, two-wire irrigation control system at Crossings Park, including all required conduit and connections. The work is anticipated to be completed in summer/fall 2026 and must integrate with the existing Hunter irrigation control system. The completed system is intended to improve reliability, maintenance accessibility, and operational performance of the existing irrigation system supporting ongoing athletic field use. This project is a turnkey replacement of the irrigation control wiring system at Crossings Park. The successful proponent is responsible for the complete delivery of the work, including coordination with City staff and management of all aspects of the project, including design, execution, safety, quality, and performance. The work generally includes replacement of approximately 2,500 m of irrigation control wire and associated conduit servicing approximately 100 irrigation zones, separated into three control wire paths as shown in Attachment 3.
