Renovation of a mixed-use development in Northfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and power facility.
New Trier Township High School District 203 is requesting proposals for a guaranteed energy savings contract, specifically focusing on battery energy storage systems (BESS) at the Northfield Campus. The contract must include a written guarantee from the Qualified Provider that the energy or operational cost savings, or both, will meet or exceed the costs of the energy conservation measures within 20 years, as per Illinois School Code 105 ILCS 5/19b. All prospective Providers must attend a mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting to familiarize themselves with the project locations. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes, in the required format, and on time. The selected provider must adhere to prevailing wage rates and requirements for Inflation Reduction Act rebates, and must provide performance and payment bonds as well as a certificate of insurance meeting the District's requirements. The District reserves the right to terminate, accept, or reject proposals as it sees fit. Interested parties that have questions regarding the proposal documentation shall direct them to Mr. Jim Maile, Director of Physical Plant Services, in writing by email to mailej@newtrier.k12.il.us. Questions and answers will be shared in writing with all participating vendors.
