Bids are being accepted on the following items: Cold mix (RM90 oil and mill fee); rock products including #6 stone, #7 stone, #8 stone, crusher run, size rock, sewer rock, shot rock, class A rip rap, class B rip rap, class C rip rap, washed #6, #7, #8 stone, and pug mix (include price delivered to the Hickman County Highway Department and price for FOB supplier yard); metal road tiles and metal arched road tiles (12" x 20' through 60" x 20', specify gauge); dual wall HDPE tiles (12" x 20' through 60" x 20'); grader blades (heat treated, carbon cutting edges, teeth); recap tires (one piece ring tread design: 22/32 tread, RZYD style tread or equivalent); petroleum products (RS-2 and CHPF-1 price per gallon—only what oil is used will be paid for, no other charges); CHPF-1 (fog seal application) with price per square yard, contractor to provide labor, equipment, traffic control, and signage; bridges (concrete slabs, concrete in price per cubic yard, bridge steel in place priced per pound, and abutment of piers concrete price per cubic yard in place, bridge steel in place per pound); asphalt (hot asphalt furnishing, hauling, and laying); road line stripping (price per linear mile); chert (price at pit with county hauling and loading); road signs (high density traffic signs and various aluminum stop, yield signs, posts, and letters); and equipment by the hour (various dump trucks, doziers, trackhoe, rubber tire backhoe, grader with specified working weights). Bids may be hand delivered or mailed to the Hickman County Finance Office. The Hickman County Highway Department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Bids will be awarded with regard to the best quality and quantity per price submitted. Bid winners are responsible for a ten day advance notice on future change in bid price, and prices are to be honored by any other county department.
