Renovation of an educational facility in Riverview, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Riverview Community School District Board of Education is accepting firm prime contractor bids for the installation of air conditioning in the A-Wing classrooms at Seitz Middle School. Bidders are responsible for field measuring and designing their own installation plans. Bidding documents, which consist of parts lists, can be obtained by contacting the Director of Operations. Each proposal must be submitted in duplicate using the forms provided by the district, completed in full, sealed in an opaque envelope, and clearly marked with the bidder's name and project name. A bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of at least 5% of the proposal sum is required for bids over $24,924. Proposals must be firm for 120 days. Successful bidders with proposals of $50,000 or more will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the bid amount, included in the proposal cost. Proposals must also include sworn and notarized statements regarding familial relationships, compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act, and compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act. Bids not accompanied by these statements will not be accepted. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities, and award the contract at its discretion.
