Renovation of a municipal facility in Merrill, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Lincoln County Maintenance Department is requesting proposals for work associated with reroofing the Lincoln County Service Center (Administration building). Sealed proposals must be submitted to the Lincoln County Maintenance Department or the Lincoln County Clerk's office by the specified deadline. The Committee reserves the right to reject any or all quotations or to accept any quotation or portion thereof deemed most advantageous to Lincoln County. These specifications/scope of services are intended to be primarily goal-oriented. Bidders shall describe their approach to installing a new roofing system to meet or exceed the following specifications, with a manufacturer's warranty as well as a contractor's warranty. This roofing project will consist applying the 50 mil. PVC thermoplastic membrane roofing material or equivalent (see roof spec sheet enclosed) over the existing EDPM roofing material. The deck of this roof is 20 gauge steel and the new system will have to be properly anchored to maintain integrity and warranty specifications. All flashing at edges is to be of same color as presently installed. Note: There are obstacles present to be worked around as part of this job. They are as follows. One (1) Energy recovery unit (size 2' x 4'), one (1) roof hatch, ten (10) roof drains, four (4) 1-1/2" PVC roof vents, one (1) Liebert AC unit (approx. 2' x 2'), one (1) boiler stack assembly (approx. 2' x 10'), and four (4) roof scuppers. All rock ballast will be removed by Lincoln County and EDPM material swept and clean of debris.
