Prequalification forms may be secured from the Engineer of Construction, Administration Building, 2300 South Dirksen Parkway, Springfield, IL 62764. ILDOT - F.O.B. Stockpile - Seal Coat Agg. This work shall consist of cold milling and pulverizing (recycling) the existing asphaltic surfaces to a maximum depth of 4" and a maximum particle size of 100% passing 1% " sieve. The work will be done on various road district roads in Henry County (see preliminary map and individual township maps). The Engineer may adjust the locations and depths (not to exceed 4"). The Road Districts may add additional aggregate or bituminous materials prior to the recycling process. The Road District Commissioners will be responsible for grading and compaction of the recycled material. The final mix gradation shall be approved by the Engineer. The successful bidder shall coordinate work with the Engineer. Road Recycling shall be completed by July 31, 2026. The Road District shall be responsible for traffic control. Basis of Payment: The work shall be paid for by the square yard recycled, as measured by the Engineer. Mobilization will not be paid separately, but shall be included in the square yard price.
