The City of Bartow is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced companies to provide a comprehensive system-wide audit of the City's electric distribution infrastructure. The objective is to update the City's Geographic Information System (GIS) database and OpenGov Enterprise Management system (Cartegraph). The selected company will collect detailed phasing, attribute, and high-accuracy GPS location data for all electric system assets, including poles, pad-mounted equipment, meters, stub poles, streetlight and yard light poles (noting size, type, style, and billing status), overhead and underground transformers, risers, capacitors, regulators, reclosers, trip savers, fuses, arrestors, and termination cabinets. System-wide phase information and key location labeling are required, with high-accuracy GPS coordinates captured for each structure and service point. Attribute data requirements are specified in Attachment A. Proposers are expected to suggest efficient and cost-effective methods to minimize the duration of the project, expenses, and database downtime during data extraction.
