Lift Station 24 is located at 2098 Valencia Way. A 2019 condition assessment of its force main revealed deterioration. In addition, the pipe size is much too large for the flow currently being pumped by Lift Station 24 subsequent to Lift Station 2 flow being diverted to a different force main. The project will include the installation of approx. 1,500 feet of 8" PVC pipe to replace the existing 20" ductile iron pipe. This smaller and shorter force main will require less maintenance/repair and in turn lower costs. Flows in this area are predicted to remain stable as the surrounding areas are fully developed. The existing force main will be flushed and left in place as a backup for the new force main. The proposed timeline of this project includes design followed by construction. The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
