The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees required to complete all work for a fully functional roof replacement system that integrates seamlessly with the building. All work must be performed in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements specified. Bid submissions must be emailed as instructed. Prospective bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid job walk. The Prime Contractor must have a B - General Building Contractor or a C-39 Roofing Contractors license issued by the State of California, and must possess a C-22 Asbestos Abatement license or subcontract to a C-22 contractor for asbestos abatement work. Work shall include but not limited to all roofing materials, underlayment, metals, trims, rakes, flashings, eves, overhangs, canopy, sheathing, wooden members, fascia, rain gutters, splash block, etc. required to complete all work for a fully functional roofing system that ties into building flawlessly. All work shall comply with Drawings and Specifications dated 6/20/2022. Contractor is required to do a Lead and Asbestos test on the building roof structure from the top plate to the ridge cap and everything in between. Test area will encompass all areas of soffit, facia, steeple, gable, trim, underlayment etc. Contractor will provide the Testing report prior to commencement of work. Contractor will have 180 Calendar Days from notice to proceed to complete this project. An approved Safety Plan with appointment letters for Site Superintendent, Quality Control and Site Safety Officer are required as submittals. Material submittals for all materials are required. Site Superintendent and Safety Officer (can be one person) or an approved alternate are required to be on site at all time that work is being performed. All work shall comply with trade standards local, State of California, and federal regulations. Project will also comply with applicable UBC/CBC codes and UFCs.
