Question Deadline 05/27/2026 at 5:00 PM CT All questions regarding the project shall be submitted in writing to Sally Pennington, Parks and Recreation Director, no later than this date and time. The work consists of parking improvements; concrete work including sidewalks, ramps, stairs, and a shelter slab; construction of a park shelter structure; ADA-accessible routes; playground equipment and surfacing; parallel parking along Main Street Terrace; curb and gutter; utility improvements for electric and water; a hammock area; and site landscaping. All work shall be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and applicable local, state, and federal requirements. Bidders shall submit sealed bids on the provided Bid Form, include a bid bond not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, and comply with all relevant federal requirements including but not limited to the Davis-Bacon Act, Copeland "Anti-Kickback" Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and all civil rights, equal employment opportunity, and affirmative action requirements. Minority, Women, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit bids. Bidders must comply with the Build America, Buy America Act and ensure all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials are produced in the United States unless a waiver is approved. A performance bond and payment bond are required. Contractors must provide required insurance certificates prior to work start. The contract will include a two-year warranty for materials and workmanship. The work must be substantially completed within 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
