It is the Contractors responsibility to confirm questions have been received by GCSWCD The work consists of the restoration of approximately 260 feet of stream bank, including excavation and fill to create a new stable slope, rock revetment, new aligned stream channel, and construction of in-stream rock structures to create a riffle/pool complex. Work items also include the installation of various bioengineering practices and plantings to create a riparian area. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and include a certified check, bank draft, negotiable United States Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount equal to at least ten percent of the Base Total Bid. The successful bidder will be required to execute a bond of indemnity equal to the full amount of the contract, as security for the faithful performance of the contract. Bids will be selected based on the lowest, qualified, responsible bidder. The Greene County Soil and Water Conservation District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities therein, and to select the bid that will best assure efficient performance of work.
