Conduct market research to assess industry capability to support the construction of an F-35B Vertical Landing Pad and associated taxiway at Ebbing Regional Air Service Facility. The project scope includes construction of a single vertical landing pad designed to support F-35B short takeoff and vertical landing aircraft, utilizing a combination of advanced high-temperature concrete and standard runway-grade concrete. Work also includes construction of a taxiway connecting the new vertical landing pad to existing runways and taxiways, along with improvements to existing taxiways and shoulders. The project further encompasses installation of airfield lighting, pavement striping, drainage systems, and all other features necessary to meet applicable airfield and mission requirements. The anticipated construction approach is firm fixed-price, design-bid-build, with an estimated construction value between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 and an estimated performance duration of 270 calendar days.
