Reference Number 0000420994 The North Kingstown School Department (NKSD) is seeking qualified bids for Septic and Cesspool Cleaning. The contractor must be able to provide rooter service upon request. The price for rooter service shall be included in this bid. Invoices shall list each facility separately. Complete removal of all waste, including all sludge from septic tank / cesspool located at all locations. Removal of any waste found that may have entered either tank filters or outlet lines to leach fields or inlet lines that come from the building. Wash down sides of cesspools to remove all waste and the immediate area where any waste may have been spilled onto the ground in the cleaning process. Completion of a visual inspection and report any deficiencies to the School Department. The contractor must pump all tanks and be done prior to the second week of August. The Contractor must supply a listing of any and all vehicles which they intend to use. 1. Vehicle make and year 2. Tank size 3. State permit number 4. Each vehicle must have a site glass mounted on the tank which must be clearly visible and the shut off in the open position A copy of the septic hauler manifest must be attached to the contractor's request for payment. Payments will not be approved without a manifest. The successful bidder shall furnish all necessary materials. If applicable, it is mandatory for the contractor to obtain necessary permits.
