Reference Number 0000420997 The contractor must notify the School Department at once of any safety issues that pose an immediate threat to personnel or property. All contractors bidding this RFP shall be licensed in the State of R.I. for all trades included in this RFP, and will not be allowed to sub-contract any of the services required without prior authorization from the North Kingstown School Department. The Contractor will submit a written inspection report within 30 days of the completed inspection. This report must include verification of inspection, completed preventive maintenance logs, along with recommendations for non-emergency repairs. The contractor must submit all paperwork, inspection reports, and documentation required to the state of Rhode Island to obtain a chairlift inspection certificate. ASME A17.1 - Safety Code for Elevator and escalators. ASME Al 8.1 - Safety Standard for Platform Lifts and Stairway Chair lifts ADA - Americans with Disabilities Act NFPA-70 - National Electric Code State Building Codes State modifications to adopted National Code Annual inspection and testing will be scheduled every during school recess. The contractor shall notify the Plant & Grounds Service at 401-268-6426 to schedule all work order service requests and inspections. The contractor will submit the annual inspection report invoiced and listing by facility, required repairs, scope of work, materials, manufactures name and model numbers.
