Sealed bids are invited for the NIMISHILLEN TOWNSHIP 2026 PAVING/ROADWAY PROJECT. Bid envelopes must be marked "2026 PAVING/ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT." Copies of specifications and bid forms may be obtained from the Administrative Office. Each bid must include a certificate for corporations not chartered in Ohio affirming authorization to do business in Ohio, and must be accompanied by a bid guaranty (either a certified check, cashier's check, letter of credit for 10% of the bid, or a bid guaranty bond for the full amount), as specified in Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code and in the project specifications. Bids must conform with Ohio Revised Code and must use provided forms. All proposals must be delivered to the Fiscal Office by the specified deadline. Work is subject to prevailing wage rates and must be performed per ODOT Specifications. Bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment. Work is to begin only upon written authorization and must be completed within thirty calendar days of the written Notice To Proceed. The Township Trustees reserve the right to reject any or all bids, decrease or omit any item, waive informalities or irregularities, and to accept any bid or combination of bids deemed most favorable. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best bid, not necessarily the lowest, based on criteria in the specifications. No single factor will control the award decision; the Board will exercise full discretion.
