Lassen County Public Works Department is now accepting proposals for consulting engineering firms who wish to be considered to provide professional contract administration and construction inspection and material testing services for the construction project in Lassen County. There are three (3) projects which are the Public Road Crossing improvement project on Hackstaff Road which is located within Lassen County on Hackstaff Road (County Road 322) near Doyle, California. And Standish-Buntingville Road, CR 301 Rehab D and Rehab E project on Standish-Buntingville Road (A-3) between the towns on Janesville and Standish, California and Old Town Road CR 102 Rehabilitation project near the town on Westwood, California. This work is subject to State contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code, Section 12990. Any question related to this RFP shall be submitted in writing to the attention of Dave Ernaga via email at dernaga@co.lassen.ca.us. Questions shall be submitted before 5:00 P.M. on April 15, 2026. SCOPE OF WORK: General: The consulting engineering firm shall perform the work by or under the direction of a licensed Structural Engineer or licensed Civil Engineer, who is registered with the State of California. The consulting engineering firm shall provide contract administration, construction inspection and material testing during the construction phase for the above three projects as set forth in Chapter16: Administer Construction Contracts and Chapter 17: Project Completion of the current Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual (LAPM).
