Additionally, Alternative 2 for this project will be to do roadway improvements on 9th Street from Bennett to Garfield. Bennett to Palmer is to be mill & overlay only while Palmer to Garfield is a full depth reconstruction with new base course and 4" of asphalt. All work is to be performed in accordance with the "State Department of Highways - Division of Highways - State of Colorado - Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction", latest edition and City of Glenwood Springs Design Standards.
