Renovation of a library in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,870-square-foot library.
The project consists of replacing the two existing domestic booster pumps and expansion tanks located in the historic Main Library building of the Cleveland Public Library. The new booster pumps must be connected to the building's Siemens control system and either connected to the existing power supply or provided with a new power connection. The scope includes electrical, plumbing, controls, and other necessary work. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates and equal employment opportunity requirements. Subcontract agreements must use a specified form for limited scope projects. Bidders are encouraged to be enrolled in an approved Drug-Free Safety Program prior to submitting a bid and must provide information about their enrollment on the electronic bid form. If awarded the contract, the contractor is responsible for scheduling the project, coordinating subcontractors, and providing other required services. Proposals for substitutions must be submitted in writing by the deadline, and only written addenda will confirm acceptance of substitutions. Printed and digital copies of contract documents are available from specified locations for review.
