Award date 5/26/26 Sealed Proposals are requested for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to rehabilitate the existing roadway on CUY-LEE ROAD (CR-8) from Throckley Ave to the Shaker Heights North Corporation Line in the cities of Cleveland and Shaker Heights, Ohio. Proposals must be in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids. Each proposal must include the full name of the submitting party or parties and evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Each Bidder must include a bid guaranty, in the form of either a bid bond for the full amount (100%) of the Bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. The bid bond must be from an approved Surety authorized to transact business in Ohio and will automatically increase to a 100% Performance and Payment Bond if accepted. Both the County and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) must be named as obligees in the Bidder's Performance and Payment Bond. Bidders are required to comply with wage rates determined by the Secretary of Labor under Federal-Aid requirements and must comply with equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 and relevant Executive Orders. Proposals must be received by the specified deadline and be submitted to the correct address or through the county's Supplier Portal System. Proposals received from vendors other than plan holders of record will be deemed non-responsive. Cuyahoga County reserves the right to reject any or all bids without incurring liability.
