Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ottsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed bids will be received electronically for the following projects: (1) Installation of Asphalt Surface Treatment (single application), approximately 137,708 SY on various streets (Bid #2026-001); (2) Installation of Superpave Overlay Paving, approximately 29,245 SY, including miscellaneous work on various streets (Bid #2026-002). All bids must be made on forms furnished via PennBid, accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of at least 10% of the total bid price, payable to the Township, and an Anti-Collusion Affidavit. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified as a Prime Contractor and must verify compliance with the E-Verify Program. Prequalification documentation must be included. Submission of information is required via PennBid. The successful bidder must furnish and pay for satisfactory insurance and performance/payment bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the total base bid. Bedminster Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities. The Prevailing Wage Act applies to Bid #2026-002. Submission requirements include personal and contact information, bid bond, required supporting documents, and acknowledgement of any addenda. The BidTable must be completed online as part of the submission process.
