The water services department aims to replace existing 4-inch ductile iron piping with stainless steel to prevent unexpected loss of containment. The piping replacement will begin at the primary sludge pumps located in the discharge of the primary scum pump (Drawing 3P7 - P&ID) within the primary gallery and will end at the scum drum (Drawing 3P9 - P&ID).
