The State University Construction Fund seeks to contract with several firms for Site Infrastructure, Civil Engineering, and Surveying Services under term agreements. Work may include modifications, replacements, or reconfiguration of site infrastructure systems such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and communications distribution systems; roadways, parking, walks, stairs, plazas, other paving systems; signage, fencing, amenities; athletic fields and improvements. During construction, responsibilities include field administration, inspection, progress reports, and management of biweekly progress meetings. Planning may involve investigation and comparative analysis of design scenarios, peer review, surveying and utility location, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, assessment of site and system conditions, capacity requirements, construction phasing and impact analysis, and cost estimates to provide a complete description of proposed design scenarios. Projects that may be assigned will not exceed a $15 million construction value. Consultants must register for the procurement opportunity on the Fund's website. After registration, consultants receive an email with the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and the link to upload their Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). SOQs must be submitted electronically in the prescribed format by the specified deadline; paper or emailed submissions are not accepted. All inquiries related to the procurement must be made to the designated contacts as specified. Failure to follow these instructions may result in disqualification under the NYS Procurement Lobbying Act.
