Question Deadline 05/04/2026 at 5:00 PM ET For questions, submit on the Ingham ISD website by the deadline Project Locations TEC building - Door 1 Heartwood School - Door 6 and Door 22 Wilson Talent Center - Door 1 and Door 2 Scope of Work Removal and disposal of existing doors and components Field verification of all measurements. Contractor is responsible for all measurements and conditions Furnishing and installation of new storefront aluminum doors Installation of exit devices, closers and hardware Installation of thresholds and weatherproofing All work shall comply with applicable building codes and ADA requirements Caulking and sealing Electrical or low-voltage systems are not included in this project. Work under this ITB is limited to door, frame, and standard mechanical hardware installation. Final adjustments and operational testing New door assemblies shall be compatible with existing automatic door operators (ADA handicap operators). Contractor shall verify existing conditions and ensure proper fit and function. Basis of Design The new door systems shall match the type and quality of previously installed storefront systems. Components shall include (or approved equal): o Aluminum storefront door system o Exit devices (panic hardware) o Door closers o Thresholds o Sealants and caulking o Complete installation Any deviations must be clearly identified in the bid submission. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price, from a surety company licensed to do business in Michigan and acceptable to the owner. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bids must be submitted electronically and include the required attachments. All work must be completed on or before the specified completion date. Attendance at the mandatory walkthrough is expected and bidders are responsible for verifying all existing conditions, measurements, and requirements prior to bid submission. Prices shall not include taxes, and all expenses for proper contract execution are to be included in the bid price.
