Contract #102 - Mechanical Construction - The project includes UV replacement, kitchen and cafeteria reconfiguration, renovation to two gymnasiums; high school gym entry corridor, locker rooms, team rooms, and training room reconfiguration; auditorium and music suite renovations; technology wing reconfiguration; restroom renovations; interior door replacement throughout the school; track replacement; stadium lighting; parking lot replacement; bus garage generator and various other scope associated with renovations. Bids must be made in writing on the forms provided and can be mailed or hand delivered. Each bid should be enclosed in a sealed envelope indicating the name and address of the Bidder and the title of the Work. Bidders must prepare their bids as set out in the "Instructions to Bidders." All questions regarding the plans, specifications, or other contract documents must be made in writing to the designated contacts. A Bid Security of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany the bid. Each bid must include a non-collusive bidding certificate and a copy of the Bidder's Certificate of Registration with NYSDOL's Contractor Registry. The project is subject to prevailing wage rate requirements. There are also detailed requirements for bidder qualifications, including bonding and insurance requirements, financial statements, bank references, legal proceedings history, a surety's intent to issue Performance and Payment Bonds, and descriptions of similar completed projects.
