Renovation of a mixed-use development in Dundee, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; educational facility; and educational facility.
Contract #103 - Plumbing Construction - The project includes UV replacement, kitchen and cafeteria reconfiguration, renovation to two gymnasiums, high school gym entry corridor, locker rooms, team rooms, and training room reconfiguration, auditorium and music suite renovations, technology wing reconfiguration, restroom renovations, interior door replacement throughout the school, track replacement, stadium lighting, parking lot replacement, bus garage generator, and other scope associated with renovations. The bidding documents contain detailed requirements for bidder qualification, including bonding and insurance requirements, financial statements, bank references, lists of lawsuits, arbitrations or other proceedings in which the bidder has been named as a party, a statement of surety's intent to issue performance and payment bonds, and a description of other projects of similar size and scope completed by the bidder. Mailing fee for one set is $65.00 for UPS delivery. Check shall be payable to Rotolite-Elliott. Bidders must return sets to Plan and Print. Prospective subcontractors and material suppliers may obtain bidding documents by payment of printing and mailing costs. Attention is called to the owner's sales tax exemption, requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed, and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. Bids must be prepared as set forth in the "Instructions to Bidders," enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on its face the name and address of the bidder and the title of the work to which the bid relates. A non-collusive bidding certificate shall be included on each bid. A copy of the bidder's certificate of registration with NYSDOL's contractor registry shall be included. This is a prevailing wage rate job. Bid security in the amount of five percent of the bid must accompany the bid in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The owner reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any or all bids or to accept the one that will be in their best interest.
