Renovation of a mixed-use development in Dundee, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 78,669-square-foot educational facility; educational facility; theater / auditorium; and educational facility.
Contract #104 - Electrical Construction - The project includes UV replacement, kitchen and cafeteria reconfiguration, renovation to two gymnasiums, high school gym entry corridor, locker rooms, team rooms, and training room reconfiguration, auditorium and music suite renovations, technology wing reconfiguration, restroom renovations, interior door replacement throughout the school, track replacement, stadium lighting, parking lot replacement, bus garage generator, and various other scope associated with renovations. Bids must be made in writing on the forms furnished, mailed or hand delivered in a sealed envelope with the Contract #, Name, and Project Name on the outside. Bidders should follow the detailed requirements for qualification, including bonding and insurance, financial statements, bank references, lists of lawsuits or proceedings involving the Bidder, a statement of surety's intent to issue Performance and Payment Bonds, and descriptions of similar projects completed. Attention is called to the Owner's sales tax exemption, conditions of employment requirements, and minimum wage rates mandated under the contract. Bids shall include a non-collusive bidding certificate and a copy of the Bidder’s Certificate of Registration with NYSDOL’s Contractor Registry. Bid documents are released for bid as specified and can be obtained as hard copy or electronically for set fees. Prospective subcontractors and material suppliers may obtain documents by paying for printing and mailing costs. All Bidders are urged to attend the pre-bid meetings and walkthroughs. Questions must be submitted in writing as instructed. Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany the bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any or all bids or accept the one deemed in the Owner's best interest.
