Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Stony Brook, New York. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; for site work for a educational facility; educational facility; and fire / police facility.
The State University of New York at Stony Brook is seeking qualifications from licensed and qualified design firms to provide full architectural and engineering design services for a new Fire and EMS Facility located on the Stony Brook University campus. The project includes a single-story pre-engineered metal building with a partial loft/mezzanine and is comprised of apparatus bays, administrative offices, training space, living quarters, and associated support spaces. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing architectural, structural coordination, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety design services. Bidders must register their company on the specified web-based solution in order to access documents and submit qualifications. Goals for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business participation (6%) and Minority/Women Business Enterprise contracting (MBE: 16%, WBE: 14%) are specified. Question Deadline 05/08/2026 at 12:00 PM ET Any questions pertaining to this RFQ (Request for Qualification) must be submitted through online.
