The work consists of designing, configuring, testing, documenting, and implementing a new Closed Restricted Network to support base-wide Electronic Security System operations. The effort includes development of a secure network architecture, integration with existing electronic security systems, validation and testing of system performance, and delivery of complete technical documentation to ensure reliable and compliant ESS operations across the installation. Requirements The purpose of this requirement is to design, configure, test, document, and implement a new Closed Restricted Network (CRN) to support base-wide Electronic Security System (ESS) operations at Ellsworth AFB, SD. This project involves transitioning ESS operations from the existing NIPRNET-based transport to a dedicated Ethernetbased CRN, while maintaining concurrent operation of the current ESS services during the implementation phase. The project includes integrating 54+ existing legacy buildings and 9 new facilities currently under construction, with the understanding that construction Beneficial Occupancy Dates (BODs) may shift.
