Site work for a water / sewer project in Decatur, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes the replacement of existing lead and galvanized steel service lines along High Street, 6th Street, and Homestead Street, as well as in the area bounded by N 13th Street, Nuttman Avenue, N 5th Street, and Monroe Street. The scope includes installation of new water service lines to replace existing service lines from the city-owned water main to premise plumbing within each home and business, and all other work required for the completion of the project as described in the specifications and shown on the drawings. The project is designed to utilize horizontal directional drilling for the installation of the new water service lines. Bidders are to obtain the contract documents, specifications, and drawings via the web-based service of Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. A non-refundable fee of $150.00 plus 7% sales tax per project division is required for access to these documents. Question Deadline 05/14/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
