Remodeling of a sidewalk / parking lot in Des Moines, Iowa. Working plans call for the remodel of a sidewalk / parking lot.
The improvement includes the installation of overhead and wall-mounted static directional/wayfinding signage throughout the downtown skywalk system, and other areas as directed by the City Engineer, all in accordance with the contract documents located throughout all skywalks, Des Moines, Iowa. Sealed proposals (bids) must be submitted electronically using the specified online system by the stated deadline. Paper, fax, or emailed bids will not be considered. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities and technicalities, and to defer acceptance of any proposal for up to 60 calendar days after opening. Each bidder must accompany its bid with bid security as defined by law and specified by the City. Preference will be given to products and labor from Iowa as required by law. Sales tax must not be included in the bid, and a sales tax exemption certificate will be provided for material incorporated in the project.
