Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Naytahwaush, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 10,000-square-foot warehouse / distribution facility; office development; and 10,000-square-foot retail development.
Remodeling of approximately 10,000 sf pool area to convert into a food shelf retail facility and warehouse for the White Earth Reservation. The project will include demolition of the entire existing floor and pools, infill of existing pools, new slab, new offices, retail area, warehouse space, coolers and freezers, offices, and restroom facilities. Approximately 2,000 sf of the mezzanine will include demolition work and new HVAC to serve the food shelf along with the existing gymnasium. This contract is Federally assisted and requires compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours Standards. Contractors and Subcontractors are obligated not to discriminate in employment practices. Bidders must submit a compliance report with President's Executive Order No. 11246. The White Earth Reservation TERO policy applies, including predetermined wage rates, payroll reporting, Indian Preference, and other requirements. Contractors shall include a 2% TERO fee based on the total bid amount in the base and all alternate bids. Each bid for material and labor packages must include a Bidders Bond equal to five percent of the full amount of the bid, including all add alternates. Separate bids will be received for the bid packages described. All bids shall be submitted using the included bid form. Sealed written bids are required for all material and labor bid packages. Emailed bids are an option only for material supply bid packages and will be considered binding unless amended or rescinded prior to bid opening. Bids received after the designated time will not be accepted.
