Site work for a water / sewer project in Burien, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of retrofitting an existing below-ground wastewater lift station structure with new submersible wastewater pumps, a valve and meter vault, electrical equipment building, and permanent standby generator. The work includes bypass pumping and dewatering as required. The site improvements include grading and drainage. The project also includes installation of approximately 49 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron force main and connection to an existing force main. Bidders must note that the project involves a variety of construction elements including demolition, electrical and controls installation, plumbing, excavation, sitework, and erosion control. Contractors are required to attend one pre-bid site visit to inspect the facilities, without entry into confined spaces. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
