Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Wawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the remodel of a recreation facility.

The successful Contractor, coordinating with the Director of Community Services and Tourism, will: provide all documentation required before starting work as outlined in the contractor requirements; ensure a safe work environment, including the installation of appropriate signage and restricting access as needed; remove the existing flooring in three facility sections (North Hallway and dressing rooms 1,2 - athletic flooring, Arena Header - athletic flooring, Curling Header - carpet, to be re-used if possible); create inspection hatches throughout the Arena and Curling Headers; prepare the floor surfaces (concrete pad / plywood) to the manufacturer's specification for the flooring product being installed; supply and install Johnsonite Triumph Sports & Multi-Function Rubber Flooring or an approved alternative in the North Hallway, Dressing Rooms (concrete), and Arena Header (plywood), ensuring it is cut and puncture resistant; re-use or replace the carpeting in the Curling Header when creating inspection hatches with Sunnquest Quilt - Onyx with ECO420 outdoor carpet adhesive; allow staff to choose colors and patterns upon proposal acceptance; supply and install vinyl baseboards similar to existing if not able to reuse; and provide all documentation and warranty information on the products and techniques used in installation. Staff will remove all existing fixtures and equipment prior to the commencement of work. Refer to facility drawings as needed.
