The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to provide inspection, testing, preventative maintenance, repair, and emergency response services for all installed fire protection systems. All work must comply with the terms, conditions, and requirements of the Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions must be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov and must include the Contracting Administrator listed in the IFB as a copied recipient. The subject line must include the IFB No. 127804, Fire Protection Systems Repair, and Contractor Business Name. Prospective bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk at Joint Force Headquarters Readiness Center. Failure to arrive on time or stay for the entire job walk may disqualify bidders. The Prime Contractor must possess either a C-16 (Fire Protection), C-10 (Electrical), or B (General Building) license. All fire sprinkler work must be performed by a C-16 license holder, and all electrical and alarm work must be performed by a C-10 license holder. A Prime Contractor with a B license may subcontract both scopes. A Prime Contractor with a C-10 or C-16 license may subcontract the other trade only if that work is incidental and supplemental to their primary scope, per CSLB regulations. Failure to meet minimum qualifications may result in a bid being deemed non-responsive. All questions regarding the IFB must be submitted via email, with subject lines referencing IFB No. 127804.
