Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Holland, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
West Ottawa Public Schools will accept sealed bids for Playground Safety Chips installation as described in the attached specifications. No oral, telephonic, telegraphic, e-mail or facsimile proposals will be accepted. Bid submissions shall be firm for ninety (90) days from the date of bid opening. Bids must be submitted on the attached bid form and be signed by the bidder, with two signed copies of the bid form addressed as instructed. All bids must include a sworn statement disclosing any familial relationship between the owner(s) or any employee of the bidder and any member of the West Ottawa Public Schools Board of Education or Superintendent. Bids must also include an Affidavit of Compliance related to the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. A PLM bond is required for bids exceeding $50,000 and should be separate from the base bid. Bids must be clearly marked on the envelope with the project name and bidder’s name. West Ottawa Public Schools reserves the right to accept or reject any portion of a bid and is not bound to accept the low bid. Incomplete or irregular bids, or those not accompanied by required data, may be rejected. West Ottawa Public Schools may waive informalities or irregularities in bids and accept bids deemed in the district’s best interest. Scope of Work The District desires to obtain bids for the installation of playground safety chips at all schools listed on bid form. Installation of Playground Safety Chips at all buildings listed on bid form Cubic Yard quantities must reflect what is shown on bid form Installation can begin on June 8th of 2026 and work is to be completed in its entirety by June 30th of 2026 Questions should be directed to Tom Swifney, Director of Buildings & Grounds at 616 786-2030.
