The project involves pulverizing, shaping, and paving approximately 0.70 miles of road on County Highway 'N' in Oneida County. Sealed bids are to be submitted to the Oneida County Highway Department. Oneida County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Department. Specifications are available through the Oneida County Highway Department. Question Deadline 04/28/2026 Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to Ben Rich at brich@oneidacountywi.gov and, to be given consideration, must be received at least seven days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Scope of Work. The work under this contract consists of pulverizing, grading and compaction of existing asphaltic pavement, final grading and compacting of stabilized roadway, and supplying and laying approximately 1940 tons of Super pave HMA PG 58-28 on Oneida County Highway N. This work begins at the intersection of USH 8 and ends near the intersection of Washburn Lake Road, approximately 0.70 miles (See the map of approximate location at the end of this Section). Contractors must coordinate all work involving Fox Valley & Lake Superior Rail System (FOXY) crossings with Watco, the operator, by contacting their Wausau-based operations team. The work shall be executed under the requirements of the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Edition of 2020 and the special provision specifications attached. It is required that the contractor review the roads and work to be completed with the Oneida County Highway Commissioner prior to bidding, so both parties have a clear understanding of the work to be completed under this proposal.
