Renovation of a detention facility in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
This project is for securing jail work center walk-in cooler and freezer replacements. Project Questions shall be directed in writing to Jim Paladin with Facilities Management at James.Paladin@clark.wa.qov. The project consists of removing and replacing the existing walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer, including but not limited to all insulated panels, doors, refrigeration equipment, and associated components, to ensure reliable energy-efficient and code compliant operation in support of facility mission requirements. The existing walk-in cooler and freezer units have exceeded their expected service life and no longer meet operational, energy efficiency or safety standards. Replacement is required to maintain proper food storage conditions, reduce maintenance costs and comply with current building, electrical and refrigeration codes. The awarded contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision and incidentals necessary to complete the replacement of the walk-in cooler and walkin freezer systems. The existing equipment is as follows: o Equipment Make - Russell o Panels - KPS o Condensing Unit - Russell o Model #MDL500M44 o DLD5L44 o Evaporator Unit - Russell o Model #AA36-145B o Model #AE46-1B5B The existing size: o Cooler - 20' wide x 32' long o Freeze - 20' wide x 37'-8" long
