Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) requests proposals for HVAC control upgrades for Wartmann Hall. Competitive responses from qualified firms are sought in accordance with the requirements outlined in the solicitation document. Firms must be properly licensed in the State of Florida at the time of submittal. Interested firms should access the Solicitation Document from the FSDB Purchasing website, check for amendments and addenda, and ensure compliance with any changes published to the FSDB website, as failure to comply may be grounds for rejecting a proposal. CONTRACTOR shall provide all equipment, tools, labor, travel, and materials necessary to replace and upgrade HVAC Control System (system to be specified in final contract) in Wartmann Hall, building #2. CONTRACTOR shall provide the services described in Article 2 herein, to replace and upgrade the HVAC Control System in Wartmann Hall, building #2. To comply with applicable codes, regulations, and manufacturer specifications. This process includes the following: 1) Install all system components. Components to include sensors, controllers, actuators, panels, routers, switches, cabling, and wireless modules if needed. 2) Provide software and licensing. 3) Install sensors to monitor temperature, humidity, occupancy, and air quality. 4) Deploy controls and actuators to manage HVAC operations based on sensor inputs. 5) Integrate user interfaces, such as control panels or digital dashboards, for real-time system interaction. 6) Set up communication networks to enable seamless data exchange across HVAC system components. 7) Provide system schematics and wiring diagrams. 8) Provide all testing and on-site staff training.
