The project bid date is extended to June 15, 2026 at 1pm. Project consists of the selective demolition and replacement of cameras and access control devices in and around the YNG terminal. The Western Reserve Port Authority (WRPA) intends to replace and upgrade the closed circuit television (CCTV) security system and the security access control systems (with existing gates, doors and access points to remain) throughout the entirety of the YNG facility. The project will consist of the installation of all new system components and wiring required for all systems and as indicated in this package . The CCTV security systems upgrade will consist of the replacement of sixteen (16) existing cameras in existing locations and proposed new camera locations as indicated in the attached documents. A line item cost for the replacement of all existing CCTV/security coaxial cable with new CAT6 cabling for entirety of system is to be provided as part of the base bid. Provide an alternate price for provision of cameras and video management system with analytic capabilities. Provide and alternate price fora video management with archiving capabilities of XTerabytes. Access control software and new desktop/front end are to be locally installed within the existing IT room with monitoring equipment located in the existing security office. Bids shall be based on a unit price bid as shown in the Form of Proposal. A bid guaranty is required, either a certified check representing ten percent (10%) of the proposal or a bid bond in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the proposal must accompany each proposal. A performance/payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required after the award of the contract. Bids of Corporations not chartered in Ohio must be accompanied by certifications that such Corporation is licensed to do business in Ohio. The contractor and all subcontractors for this project must be enrolled in the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation Drug Free Workplace Program or a similar approved program. The contractor and their subcontractors shall comply with the appropriate minimum prevailing wages set forth by the State of Ohio Industrial Wage Federal Division. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, sex or national origin. The Western Reserve Port Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Please indicate the project being bid (Camera / Access Control Modifications) on the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid. Question Deadline 05/01/2026 A bidder requiring a clarification or interpretation ofthe project documents shall make a written request to the Owner or Engineer. The Owner or Engineer must receive the written request a minimum ofthree (3) calendar days prior to the date ofthe bid opening.
