Construction of City of Struthers Downtown Parking Lot, and Resurfacing of Rear Access Alley The Work Consists of Lump Sum Excavation, as Per Plan; Approximately 1500 Sq Yd of Pavement Removal; 600 Sq Yd of Pavement Repair; 1,700 Sq Yd of Pavement Planing; 290 Cu Yd of Asphalt Concrete; and All Other Related Items as Listed in the Plan General Summary and the Bidding Document. All Contractors Bidding on the Project, and All Subcontractors Must Be Pre-qualified With the Ohio Department of Transportation for the Work Type to Be Performed. A Bid Guaranty is Required Per Ohio Revised Code (Orc) 153.54, Either Certified Check Representing Ten Percent (10%) of the Proposal, Drawn on a Solvent Bank, and Payable to Mahoning County Cic, or a Bid Bond in the Sum of Ten Percent (10%) of the Proposal in Lieu Thereof Must Accompany Each Proposal as a Guarantee That if the Bid is Accepted, a Contract Will Be Entered Into With the Mahoning County Cic, in the Manner Provided by Law. Per Orc 153.571, a Performance/payment Bond in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Price Will Be Required After the Award of the Contract. The Contractor and All Subcontractors for This Project Must Be Enrolled in the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation Drug Free Workplace Program or in a Similar Program Approved by the Bureau of Workers' Compensation. This Project is Being Funded With Federal Dollars. The Contractor and All Subcontractors Shall Comply With the Appropriate Minimum Prevailing Wage Standards as Set Forth by the Federal Davis Bacon Act.
