Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Janesville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and perform all work necessary to convert Anthony Avenue (S. Jackson Street to Adel Street) from a gravel roadway to an urban cross-section, including approximately 430 LF of new 12” storm sewer; 1,300 CY of unclassified excavation; 1,600 TONS of aggregate base; 1,100 LF of concrete curb & gutter; 340 SF of concrete sidewalk and curb ramps; 420 TONS of asphalt paving; non-paved surface restoration; signage; and other miscellaneous construction items. Bids shall be submitted electronically through QuestCDN vBid Online Bidding ONLY. No paper bids will be accepted. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the City as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages.
